Amos Ameh Abba
Amos Abba is an investigative journalist with the International Center for Investigative Reporting (ICIR), an online media platform based in Abuja with a specific emphasis on holding the powerful to account.
Amos was nominated for the Nigeria Academy of Science Awards for Best Science Report in 2018. He was shortlisted for the Thomson Reuters Foundation Young Journalist Award and was a finalist in the Kurt Schork Memorial Awards in International Journalism in 2019.
His works have also earned him the top spot as runner-up at the PWC Media awards in 2020 and 2021 for investigations into Nigeria’s tax systems.
Through the ICFJ Global Nutrition and Food Security Reporting Fellowship, Amos Ameh Abba wrote a story about how drought and climate change fuel malnutrition in Nigeria and Tunisia. Read here.
