Camilo Gómez

Camilo Gómez has been a journalist for the Colombian newspaper El Espectador since 2017. He works in the World News section and co-directs the project "Lado a lado" on migration. Gómez is a professor at the University of Los Andes, where he teaches young economists about the work of journalists. He enjoys writing about politics, international affairs, films, and music and has created several new formats to innovate the digital aspect of El Espectador and attract a younger audience to the newspaper. His latest project is a podcast mixing music with international and historical issues, covering topics such as the Arab Spring and the Iraq war.
