Curlan Campbell
Curlan Campbell is a freelance journalist who contributes to an online newspaper called NOW Grenada.
He has a passion for connecting and engaging with communities to identify problems to find solutions. He is also passionate about the environment and stories surrounding marine conservation.
While being a young and upcoming journalist, Campbell was awarded Journalist of the Year in 2014. In 2017, he was elected to serve as 1st Vice President of the Media Workers Association of Grenada (MWAG). He served in that capacity for one year and then was subsequently reelected to serve as second vice president of the Media Workers Association of Grenada (MWAG).
Campbell currently resides on the island of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, which has three major independent television media establishments and several print and online newspapers, serving a population of just over 100,000 people. His career experience includes being employed at two of the major television networks on the island of Grenada, most recently doing a stint at Grenada Broadcasting Network (GBN).
