Erin Ailworth
Erin Ailworth was a Bringing Home the World Fellow in 2013.
Erin Ailworth has been a staff writer at the Boston Globe since 2007. She works on the business desk as a general assignment reporter, typically covering energy, clean technology, and utilities. Before working at the Globe, Erin was a municipal and crime reporter at the Orlando Sentinel. She is an alum of the Minority Editorial Training Program (METPRO) fellowship at the Los Angeles Times, and was part of the Kaiser Family Foundation’s 2003 media intern class. Erin is also vice president of print for the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, and a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists. She is a native of California.
Erin traveled to Israel to explore how Massachusetts and Israel are collaborating to build a multibillion industry employing technology developed in the Bay State to purify, reclaim, and expand supplies of fresh water.
