Liliana Castano is the social media editor for Univision's 21 local markets across the United States. With over 25 years of experience in journalism, she has specialized on the production, optimization, and distribution of digital content across various platforms. Throughout her career, Castano has demonstrated a commitment to social responsibility by supporting the creation of bilingual media outlets for indigenous communities and collaborating with women entrepreneurs to develop their communication skills.

Within Univision, Castano has been at the forefront of digital coverage for major topics such as elections, natural disasters, and breaking news, leading to innovative approaches in digital journalism.

Castano holds a master's degree in environmental sciences from Universidad Nacional Experimental de Guayana and a bachelor's degree in social communication from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
