Natalia Arbelaez Jaramillo

Natalia Arbelaez Jaramillo is a lawyer who works at La Silla Vacía as a journalist. She created the La Silla Académica section to journalistically translate the knowledge produced by universities regarding the country's problems. She started the “Lie Detector” from La Silla to WhatsApp groups and the use of formats such as explanatory videos to reach more people. Since August 2022, she has been the editor of the disinformation team. Her goal as a leader is to move from the “Lie detector” to explaining the narratives that move, who does it, how much they invest and for what purposes.
