Niyi Oyedji

Niyi Oyedeji is a journalist with a passion for investigative journalism, human rights, and sustainable development. Currently, he works as an investigative reporter with the International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR), where he fact-checks and reports about climate change, education, social injustice, health, and anti-corruption.

He is a 2019 Fact-Checking fellow with Dubawa, Nigeria’s first indigenous fact-checking and verification platform, a 2020 Energy Reporting Fellow with Climate Tracker, and a 2021 Solutions Journalism Network mentorship graduate.

Through the ICFJ Global Nutrition and Food Security Reporting Fellowship, Sahar Mohamed wrote a story about inflationary pressures and violent conflict leading to far too many people are unable to afford nutritious food in Yemen and Nigeria. Read here.
