Priscilla Lynch

Clinical Editor at Medical Independent

Priscilla Lynch is an experienced health journalist and editor with 20+ years of experience. Since 2011, she has served as the Clinical Editor of the Medical Independent and has also freelanced for a variety of Irish and UK publications and podcasts.

During this fellowship, Lynch plans to report on innovations surrounding healthcare delivery and challenges. Her topics of interest include vaccination technology and delivery, ranging from new types of vaccines (mRNA, anti-cancer vaccines, etc.) to vaccine nasal technology to vaccine storage/delivery issues to monitoring correct uses of medication. She is also interested in looking at the growing role of telemedicine and artificial intelligence in healthcare delivery, particularly screening, and how innovative developments can help address healthcare challenges for marginalized populations around the world. Lynch hopes to improve her skills in novel multimedia formats such as podcasts, as well as publish reports about health innovations on a global scale.
