Regina De Heer (she/her) is a producer for Notes from America with Kai Wright (formerly The United States of Anxiety), a national radio show out of New York Public Radio. Most recently, De Heer hosted and produced the show’s summer series “Songs of Our Diasporas,” which explored of the histories – and the futures – of different genres of cultural music. She also curated a companion playlist to the series using Spotify’s Music + Talk feature.
De Heer is a proud Ghanaian American, a graduate of New York University, and has previously worked on the WNYC daily show The Brian Lehrer Show, and CNN Audio’s Downside Up hosted by Chris Cillizza.
