Rosario Marina received a degree in Social Communication with a Journalism orientation from the National University of La Plata (Argentina), then studied a Master in investigative journalism, data and visualization at the Rey Juan Carlos University, in Spain. Since 2014 she worked in Guatemala, Argentina and Spain. In Argentina for important news outlets such as Diario La Nación, Chequeado (fact-checking), Agencia Presentes, Perycia (where she is currently the editor). In Spain for eldiario.es and in the fact-checking section in AFP, called AFP Factual, investigating in Argentina and Paraguay. 
In 2018 she worked in the production company El Intercambio, in Guatemala. The investigative pieces were also published in BBC Mundo and Insight Crime. She won three awards: one for a non-fiction text about drugs, youth and slums in Argentina (La Voluntad), another for a story made with a Brazilian journalist for AFP (Agência Bori), and a data fellowship from the Deutsche Welle Akademie. She also studied Latin American narrative journalism and journalistic editing at the Portable University of Chile.  She now specializes in data and investigative journalism, focusing in gender, LGBT rights and judiciary journalism.
