Sebastian Rodriguez Vargas

Sebastian Rodriguez is a science, biodiversity and climate change journalist. Currently, he serves as Special Projects Editor at Climate Home News. Formerly, he was Editor in Chief of Climate Tracker, and editor of Ojo al Clima, the first climate news outlet in Central America. He has published his work in Science Magazine, Thomson Reuters Foundation News, DW, China Dialogue, Mongabay and SciDev.net. Rodriguez is the winner of Costa Rica's national environmental journalism award Huella Jaguar in 2019. Rodriguez is a Fellow of the World Federation of Science Journalists, a member of the Latin American Network of Young Journalists, and a correspondent member of the Mexican Network of Science Journalists.
