Congratulations To The Class Of 2013

By: Michal Orczyk | 07/24/2013

The Global Business Journalism program, run jointly by ICFJ and Tsinghua University, is now in its seventh year. It has established itself as a one-of-a-kind leader in its field.

Speakers at the ceremony included Shi Anbin, associate dean of international development at Tsinghua, Nicholas James Compton, News Editor at China International Publishing Group, and several of the matriculating students.

“China faces a future full of beautiful possibility,” said 2013 graduate Megan Lynn Thomas, urging her classmates to embrace the unpredictable opportunities that may come their way.

Representatives from two of the program’s sponsors also addressed the graduates and their guests. Ai Xihong, vice president of Bank of America Merrill Lynch International and John Liu, Beijing bureau chief of Bloomberg, both gave remarks.

Please join us in congratulating the graduates, and wishing them every success in the future.
