Khalil Alhamar

Khalil AlHamar was a 2014 ICFJ Professional Fellow from the Middle East, on the program "Unlocking the Economic Potential of Digital Media." He is an entrepreneur creating technology that strengthens client’s branding with the connective power of the web. AlHamar in 2010 founded Edges Media Company, which creates multimedia and web solutions for international customers, applying expertise in graphic design, web development, branding and online marketing, and software development including custom Apple apps. AlHamar writes about technology for theCITY and Khaleejesque magazines in Kuwait. AlHamar promotes blogging as head of the the organizing committee of the Bloggers Gathering seminar. He volunteers as a youth mentor including coaching teams of young people in creating media projects in the Shigardy Program. AlHamar holds a bachelor’s in business management Australian College of Kuwait and other certificates in business.
